Design & Development Process
Our project methodology is based heavily on user led environments rather than technology flaunting solutions that can shine but don't have any integrity.
geekIT Digital delivers industry endorsed applications time and
time again. The consistency of this successful delivery to a
diverse range of industries and businesses is made possible by
employing best practice design and development process.
The project methodology we use envelopes the lifecycle from
inception through deployment and as an ongoing development
partner.
Critical stages of the project management process include:
- Conception stages involving key stakeholder workshops,
gathering of industry research and idea conception are defined in a
Project Initiation Document.
- Project workshops are used to assess infrastructure, systems
and application requirements, design scoping, user experience
analysis, and best practise market research resulting in a
comprehensive project brief.
- Documentation structure ensures that all business strategies,
financial analysis and technical aspects are identified and
approved.
- Stage two documentation further refines requirements
incorporating further Information Architecture detail. The roadmap
is completed.
- Development phases are incremental and each phase employs a sub
process for review, evaluation and redefining of the project
module. This allows for reflection and revision of the unique
business needs. Distinct goals are identified for each stage.
- Upon launch, final documentation is delivered and ongoing data
analysis and reiterative user testing is planned to encourage
dynamic project modelling.
